Medical Assistant

Our MAs work closely with specific doctors. Usually one or two MAs are assigned to assist one doctor during their daily clinics. Duties include initially rooming and talking to patients and recording their medical histories in our electronic medical record. Technical responsibilities include: blood draws, bladder scans and assisting in prostate biopsies and vasectomies. A unique feature of the position is to work closely with a doctor and to act as a liaison between the physician and the patient.
